About BG Vietnam :


INTRODUCTION : BattleGround's Vietnam purpose is to provide user in Single flying, a combat environment setting where AIs fight back, not being just "sitting ducks" waiting to be destroyed, as the case is in Free Flight FSX mode. BGV forms the Interactive Operational Theater that FSX lacks.



BattleGround Vietnam FSX/P3D Missions (Land & Carrier versions), define the conditions and events triggers that form an interactive, immersive & challenging combat environment for user to fly in, with planes of his choice and use of weapon addons like Tacpack.
By using Carrier&Convoy Planner (CCP), stand alone tool, as a kind of Mission Editor for placing static targets, as also specific AI traffic of all sorts (planes, vehicles, boats & carriers), user of BGV can design and fly virtually any type of task/mission in this environment, with imagination being the only limit...

Carrier&Convoy Planner (CCP)


Using CCP as a Mission Editor and taking in account / advantage the "rules" & features of BGV environment, user can design tactical mission to fly, like :


- Ground, Aerial, Ship AI targets moving through Flak ares (partially or totally)
- Ground or Ship moving convoys protected by AAA capable hostile assets (or not)
- Ground, Aerial, Ship AI targets moving or static, placed in northern latitudes protected by airborn Migs (with a 35% or 100% chance to encounter)
- Escort of friendly AI flights northern of Mig protected latitudes
- Target Areas (static targets) inside Flak areas or protected by AIs with AAA ability or Airborne Migs.
